A man in an overcoat and hat runs out to a shelter on the front. A man walks along the sea front under an umbrella. Flooded road (Alvis Ave.), water several feet deep in garden. Man and woman in rain coats and holding umbrella stand on pier. Flood water in front garden - sign reads 'Chalet to Let'. LV seafront with pier. People line up outside cinema ticket booth. LV Seafront at Llandudno in Wales. Various shots of men playing golf. (The voiceover describes it as "Work... work ... work") Men stand under golf umbrella marking scores. SV. Full titles read: "CALSHOT" L/S's of a basket with pigeons being loaded onto and RAF (Royal Airforce) flying boat. Good L/S's of the large aeroplane taking to the sky. M/S's of a man releasing a homing pigeon from the cockpit of the aircraft. L/S's and M/S's of an RAF man collecting the pigeon after it has returned home, he holds it upside down and then and takes the message attached to it's ring off

🎬British Pathé – Probably unusable item about Salisbury Cathedral steeplejacks - very bad decomposition. "Not everybody would choose to tackle this kind of high life business" L/S of a large cathedral - framed inside an oval mask (bad decomposition on this shot). Camera tilts up to show spire of cathedral. "This is the 400 foot spire of the Salisbury Cathedral - highest in England - and hardly the nicest of spots to perch even a temporary nest - " Low angle shot of the spire - steeplejack just visible. "But, what a view of Salisbury! (and what a slender nervy platform to film from!)" Short shot - badly decomposed. Was an item in Eve's Film Review issue number 609. Note: very, very badly decomposed - probably unusable
