Do I have to register? No. The New Forest Archive registration will never be mandatory. Viewing the archive is unrestricted. However, we will be inviting interested parties to register with us to enable additional levels of participation. Registration will allow you to communicate with us and us to inform you of interesting content and updates.

Is it Free? Yes. The archive is completely free. There are no advertisements or Pop-ups.

Who owns the media? All the films, photos and books listed here are credited to the original source (where possible) or the current custodian.

Can I add information to things I see in the archive? Yes please. Names and locations are always based on the original documentation and observations. If you can identify additional information (people, places and dates), please get in touch, we would love to include it (or correct it). admin@newforestgateway.org

Can my photos, video or film be included in the archive? We are actively seeking participation. We are indebted to those that have already submitted photos and film. admin@newforestgateway.org
